Ta Da.............

It's a little dark (beautiful sunset in the background). The house is bricked, just need to finish the porch (which will be bricked). They have almost finished the bottom floor sheetrock! Yahoo! There will be an end to apartment life soon........ L posing in front of the house. When we were there last night a cute little deer was grazing by our lot! I love it now, but not too sure about when they start eating my flowers in the front yard.
Anyone have any advice on that?

What a handsome young boy you have. And your home is looking beautiful. We sold our first house in 23 days and they had not started building our house yet! We had to stay 6 months in a 2 room apartment with a 2 year, rowdy little boy! But it was all worth it in the end. About the deer, no solutions here. I know there are deer resistant plants, you could ask about that. Have a great day, been running lately?!

Your house is coming along nicely! I know you can't wait to be in it!

As for the deer solution, I've heard that human sweat will do the trick. Wear an old T-shirt and get all sweaty in it. (Shouldn't be too hard in all the heat lately, eh?) Then tear it into strips and tie to stakes posted along your flower bed. Use short stakes and put them along the back of the bed where they won't be so easily seen. I think my dad tried something like this with his vegetable garden about 20 years ago. It's been too long for me to remember the results... :o) Good luck!

It looks great! How much longer before you give up apartment life??

Deer are so cute--but you probably don't want them munching on your flowers! Glad Ashley had some advice for you.
